Moms Craft Morning

There was a mom's craft morning at my house on thursday.  This is becoming a regular thursday thing with a lovely bunch of moms and their kids who are not in school yet.  The moms craft (knitting, crochet and cross-stitch) and the kids play.  This thursday  the sun broke out briefly and so we downed wool and all dashed out for a short walk to feed ducks and let the kids run in the park to let off some steam.  It was fun for the kids and a good laugh as there were a few tearaway toddlers in the group who were intent on going down the banks and into the canals.  It wasn't long before the clouds arrived and the heavens opened.  We dashed home in the pouring rain and then settled for some serious crafting with copious cups of tea and a large biscuit barrel.
