Busy Box for rainy days

I love the idea of a busy box for a boring and rainy day.  Something that comes out so rarely that it is exciting.  I am starting to get a big box of stuff together for winter.  Here is a list of goodies to put in the box:

Pinecones
shells
Small leftover balls of wool
soap for carving
empty cotton reels
match boxes
clothes pegs
material scraps (felt, velvet, lace)
buttons with thread and plastic needles
beads
hessian
glue
scrapbooks
old cards and wrapping paper
pebbles
paints
card
pipe cleaners
bits of wood and sandpaper
string

The list could be endless.

Got to get busy scouring the house and collecting.
